Biography of Paul William Bradley
Paul W. Bradley has been involved in international business throughout his career, primarily in Asia. He has established new business entities in China, South East Asia, India and the United States and managed businesses across 14 countries, including participating in the successful launch of two IPO’s. Mr. Bradley is the Chairman and CEO of Caprica International, Emeritus Vice Chairman and Board Member of Supply Chain Asia, Advisory Board Member of the Kairos Society for the ASEAN Region (a non- profit entrepreneurs group based in Silicon Valley), Industry Advisory Board Member of the S.P. Jain School of Global Management (one of India’s leading business schools), and CEO Mentor to several SME’s and Tech Start-Ups. He formerly served as an Independent Director of OpenPort (a Transport Solutions Blockchain Company), and on the Executive Leadership Council for the Thunderbird, School of Global Management (ASU).
Mr. Bradley previously served as President of Arshiya International, a leading Indian multinational company focusing on supply and demand chain management services, international logistics, Free Trade Warehousing Zone Logistics Parks, Rail services, and innovative technologies. Arshiya International is a publicly listed company on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Prior to this role, he served as Managing Director of IDS International, IDS Logistics Singapore, and Director of Corporate Marketing for the
IDS Group (a member of the Li & Fung Group of companies, with $25 billion in revenue, and recognized as one of the leading publicly traded companies on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange).
Mr. Bradley received his M.B.A. Degree in International Management from the Thunderbird, School of Global Management and his B.A. in Political Science, cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has also completed the Parliamentary Government Program from the Catholic University of America, the Asian Securities Executive Program from the Asian Institute of Management and the Wharton School of Business, and participated in Stanford University’s Knexus Program on thought leadership. He is a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) and was elected a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, London. He was a guest of Tung Chee Hwa, the Hong Kong Chief Executive, at a private reception celebrating the Reunification of Hong Kong during July, 1997. Mr. Bradley was selected by the World Economic Forum as one of the forty “New Asian Leaders” at an award ceremony presented by His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan in Langkawi, Malaysia. He was selected as “Asian Supply Chain Manager of the Year” by Lloyds FTB Publications in 2004. Mr. Bradley was presented with an Award from Singapore’s Minister of State for Manpower, Teo Ser Luck, recognizing 10 years of leadership and service to the Supply Chain Asia Community.
With diverse experiences in the creation of new business entities, re-organization of companies across different industries and cultures, launching successful IPO’s and specialization in the shipping, logistics and supply chain management arenas, Mr. Bradley has held key leadership positions in various multi-national organizations including: IDS International (a member company of the Hong Kong based Li & Fung Group), Arshiya International, NYK Line (a member company of the Mitsubishi Group of Japan), BDP Asia Pacific (a Joint Venture of BDP International and the HAVI Group), American President Lines, and has served on numerous government/business advisory committees. He has served on the ANERA and TSA Shipping Line Conferences as owner’s representative, the Executive Council of the Hong Kong Liner Shipper’s Association, the ECR Asia Executive Council, the Business Advisory Council on Logistics for the Singapore Government’s Trade Development Board (I.E. Singapore), and Advisory Committee of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (Singapore). He also served a two-year appointment on the Markets Policy Advisory Committee of Spring Singapore (an agency of the government focusing on unleashing the potential of small and medium business enterprises). Mr. Bradley was appointed to the B20 Task Force on Employment and Education, which was part of the G20 Heads of State Summit held in Germany during 2017. He currently serves on NTUC’s U Circle 3.0 Committee on the Future of Employment.
Prior to his involvement in international business, Mr. Bradley served as a Congressional Assistant to U.S. Senator Paul Laxalt in the United States Senate, Parliamentary Assistant to Member of Parliament Geoff Lawler in the British House of Commons, and served on the Presidential Inaugural Committee for both the Reagan and Bush (Senior) administrations. He received the Gold Certificate of Appreciation from President Ronald Reagan for service in the presidential campaign and an autographed book from Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher for his temporary service to the British Government. Mr. Bradley has lectured at global conferences and leading universities on international relations, global business strategies, national security issues, entrepreneurship, Technology Disruption, “Dynamic Value Networks”, “Regional SCM Hubbing” and supply chain management throughout the globe and has also written chapters in published books and magazine articles in 4 continents.
